Our Story

Founded in 2024, KrishiBandhu emerged from a simple observation: while technology was transforming every sector, farmers in India were still making crucial decisions based on intuition and traditional methods.

Our founders, a team of agricultural scientists, data engineers, and rural development experts, recognized that the key to transforming Indian agriculture lay in making sophisticated technology accessible to every farmer, regardless of their technical background or economic status.

Starting with a small pilot program in rural Punjab, we developed our first AI-powered crop recommendation system. The results were remarkable - farmers using our platform saw an average 25% increase in crop yields and 30% reduction in input costs.

Today, KrishiBandhu serves over 10,000 farmers across 15 states, providing them with real-time weather insights, soil analysis, crop monitoring, and market intelligence - all through a simple, intuitive interface available in multiple Indian languages.
